Kaiser Francis Oil Company is committed to utilizing a collaborative approach with all local, state and federal agencies in order to develop critical natural gas infrastructure.


Black Bayou has recieved from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) an application pursuant to Section 7(c) of the Natural Gas Act for a certificate of public convenience and necessity to construct, own and operate the Black Bayou Project. As part of the application, Black Bayou recieved authority to charge market-based rates for all the proposed services at the Black Bayou Project.

Black Bayou will continue to work collaboratively with all federal, state, and local agencies in Louisiana throughout the development of the salt dome caverns.
